AV & Lighting Service & Repair Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £44,000

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 | Monday - Friday (Flexible hours available)

A full service technical event production company providing audio, lighting, video and rigging equipment for corporate events, private parties, sporting events and more.

You will be responsible for servicing and repairing AV, cabling and entertainment lighting equipment in the workshop.

• Service and repair entertainment lighting and audio visual equipment in the workshop
• Management of stock with regards to consumables and any required spare parts
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
• Repair of cables: multi pin, DMX, microphone cables, speaker cables, XLR
• Perform component level repair and soldering as needed
• Maintenance of tools and workshop equipment
• Adhere to health and safety policies

• Experience in carrying out repairs on lighting or AV equipment is essential
• PAT Testing experience
• Relevant degree or qualification in electronics would be beneficial
• Experience with crimping and soldering
• Component level repair experience
