The role is for a Welder with day and afternoon shifts available, offering a pay rate of £16.85/hour for day shifts and £21.06/hour for afternoon shifts, plus overtime pay.
Candidates are expected to have experience in coded welding processes such as TIG, MIG, MAG, FCAW, and SAW, with the ability to weld thicknesses from 8 to 50mm.
Applicants must have an NVQ, City & Guilds, or BTEC Engineering qualification and provide a valid certificate copy.
All candidates must successfully complete a T Fillet and V butt welding test in both downhand and vertical up positions.
Additionally, all applicants must pass a drugs and alcohol test prior to employment.

Role- Welder

Hours

Day Shift

06.45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday.

06:45 – 14:15 Friday

Afternoon Shift

15:00 – 00:00 Monday to Thursday.

Saturdays are over time.

Pay

Day Shift - £16.85/hour + Overtime (time + half)

Afternoon Shift - £21.06/hour + Overtime (time + half)

Duties include:

Coded welding in the following processes TIG/MIG/MAG/FCAW/SAW.
Weld thicknesses from 8 – 50mm, which are capable of passing Visual, MPI and UT.
Working from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC Engineering qualification – with valid certificate copy to be shown.
All candidates will be required to successfully complete a T Fillet and V butt in the downhand and vertical up positions.
