The candidate will be involved in the fabrication of components and assembly of advanced waste management equipment such as conveyors and tippers.

Candidates should have experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with MIG techniques, and be skilled in using hand and power tools.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and offers benefits such as a half day on Fridays and premium overtime rates.

LOCATION: MIDDLETON AREA

SALARY: £16.00 PER HOUR

HOURS: 39 HOURS PER WEEK

DURATION: FULL-TIME, PERM

The role:The candidate will play a crucial role in both the fabrication of components and the assembly of our advanced waste management equipment, including chain conveyors, belt conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic tippers as well as other material handling and automation equipment.

Welding and Fabrication:

- Fabricate components from engineering drawings with precision.

- Perform high-quality welding (mostly MIG) to ensure the durability and integrity of products.

- Output high quality mild steel fabricated sub-assemblies working with a range of materials from 2mm to 20mm.

Assembly:

- Assemble painted/prefinished conveyors, including rollers and motor gearboxes, using nuts, bolts, and other fasteners.

- Accurately align and fit components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

- Use hand and power tools to assemble subassemblies and large final assemblies
