The job involves fabricating components from engineering drawings with precision and performing high-quality MIG welding.
Candidates should have experience working with mild steel fabricated sub-assemblies and assembling painted conveyors.
The role requires accurate alignment and fitting of components using hand and power tools, along with the installation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience in the waste management industry is desirable but not mandatory.
The position offers a pay rate of £16.00 per hour for a 39-hour work week.

Responsibilities

Fabricate components from engineering drawings with precision.
Perform high-quality welding (mostly MIG) to ensure the durability and integrity of products.
Output high quality mild steel fabricated sub-assemblies working with a range of materials from 2mm to 20mm.

Assembly:

Assemble painted/prefinished conveyors, including rollers and motor gearboxes, using nuts, bolts, and other fasteners.
Accurately align and fit components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Use hand and power tools to assemble subassemblies and large final assemblies
Install hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality.

Desirable:

Experience in assembling conveyors and other equipment in the waste management industry.
