Our client operates across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and into Staffordshire. The company has strong contracts in place and has plans to expand into other industries and work types.

You will be carrying out investigations and repairs on a variety of plumbing areas, including; finding and fixing leaks, tap repairs and replacement, toilet repairs and replacements, shower installations, waste pipe fitting, waste fittings and traps.

Additionally, the employer is also looking for new team members who can change radiators, complete power flushes, undertake bathroom and plumbing installations, replace vented and unvented cylinders, and water tanks or work on water supply pipes, so any of these skills would be an advantage!

Hours of work

The core hours of the business are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Outside of these core hours, the company provides cover for key contracts through a rota system, which you would be part of.

Role Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is preferable, but not essential
  • Unvented qualifications desirable, but not essential
  • Relevant work experience
  • Full driving licence
  • Self-motivated & self-managing
  • Excellent communicator

What will your role as a Plumber look like?

  • We want you to take care of yourself and our customers, so exceptional health and safety is a must
  • We want you to do a great job at making our customers happy with the service we provide
  • You will mostly work alone, but sometimes as a two-man team, and you will always be supported by your fellow engineers, the amazing office staff and the leadership team
  • We use a field application to manage your workload and for you to make the necessary job notes and find the information you need about a customer and the job
  • You will be provided with a vehicle and fuel card to get you about your patch. You will be responsible for keeping it stocked with the parts you need by ordering these through an online system
  • You will provide customers with the best advice and where appropriate share information around upgrading work where needed
