Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a knack for simple control panel design and assembly?

Since 1975, our client has specialised in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of high-quality shotblast machinery, dedicated to delivering excellence and productivity. With a rich history of technical innovation and a commitment to quality, they’ve built a reputation for stability and employee satisfaction.

Join their skilled team and bring your expertise to a role where you’ll have direct input on the design and functionality of custom machinery. In this role, you'll be responsible for selecting components for control panels, wiring, and fitting. An interest to learn about simple PLC programming would be an advantage. Also to cover electrical maintenance work on our 12 acre site.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Skilled in the design, build, and assembly of relatively simple control panels
  • Proficient in 3-phase electrical work
  • Ideally, possesses PLC programming experience or have a keen interest to learn
  • Holds a valid UK Passport and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Clean UK drivers licence

What will your role look like?

  • Building, wiring, and fitting control panels for high-efficiency machinery
  • Working with 3-phase electrical systems
  • Occasional PLC programming tasks
  • Interacting with and troubleshooting motors, overloads, motor starters, and contactors
