Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to have partnered with an established commercial client based in Manningtree in recruiting a Management Accountant. Working in a team of 3 and supporting the Financial Controller you will be heavily involved in the day-to-day transactional finance as well as management accounts.

Main Duties

  • Preparing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
  • Analyzing financial performance and providing commentary
  • Advising on strategic planning and business decisions, and contributing to long-term forecasts
  • Monitoring spending and budgets, and leading the budgeting process
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and management information systems
  • Implementing risk management and internal controls
  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and aligning organizational objectives with their needs

Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing/construction sector is highly desirable
  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualified or working towards
  • PC literate including excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
  • Experience of using Sage 200, Salesforce, Concur and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
