Are you a production operative that is looking for the next step towards a career within a well-established company, which has made a reputation within a niche industry?My client is looking for a production operative who is willing to take on training and learn their process of production and develop skills within the company where progression is key.The purpose of the job would be to operate composite machinery and ancillary equipment in an efficient and safe manner and to maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate the full range of Production machinery efficiently.
  • Responsible for the raw material mixing process.
  • Ensure that quality and output standards are maintained.
  • Mechanically re-setting tooling & machines where required.
  • Check all machine conditions prior to starting the machine
  • Operate all equipment and processes in a safe manner, ensuring the appropriate safety equipment is used and worn at all times.
  • You may be required to undertake other duties as is necessary for the efficient running of the factory.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Print or ink industry
  • Experience in operating mechanical machinery or worked as a car mechanic
  • Health and Safety trained

BENEFITS

  • Monday to Friday - 40 hours
  • 3 shift patterns by rotation
  • Nights Mon to Fri - 23:00 till 07:00
  • Afternoons Mon to Fri - 15:00 till 23:00
  • Days Mon to Fri - 07:00 toll 15:00
  • 6 months training provided by experts in the field of pultrusion
  • Career progression based on 4 grades of skill which also increases pay
  • Starting salary is minimum wage, to be reviewed on 1st of April 2025
  • 3% shift allowance
  • Monthly production bonus scheme in place
