Our client is a stable and well established c. £15 million turnover business based near Bilsthorpe (in between Mansfield and Newark).

Description

You will be working as part of a small finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. This is a varied role that will progress and develop overtime. You do not need experience of all the below duties to apply, as training and support will be provided by the Finance Manager. Once you have received all the necessary training, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Processing multi currency purchase invoices, handling queries and reconciling supplier payments
  • Processing end of day sales and revenue reports
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Maintaining and reconciling petty cash records
  • Posting accruals and prepayments
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Posting and reconciling credit card expense payments
  • Supporting with producing the wages for employees
  • Supporting with producing financial statements (including trial balance and P&L)
  • Supporting with budget setting and analysis
  • Producing VAT returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Driving process improvements

Profile

To apply for this position, you do not need experience of all the above duties, as training will be provided. However, the more experience you have the better. To apply, you must:

  • Have recent experience of working in finance
  • Have experience of working in purchase ledger
  • Be familiar with using Excel
  • Live within a commutable distance to Bilsthorpe

Job Offer

  • A salary between £28,000 and £33,000 (dependent upon experience)
