About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Business Support Administrator to join our busy distribution team. In this role, you’ll provide essential business support to team leaders and drivers who deliver approximately 800 meals daily across the county. You’ll be the primary contact for service users and their families, managing meal orders, processing amendments, and handling payments. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as is a commitment to confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine clerical tasks, such as answering calls, verifying information, data entry, and photocopying, adhering to confidentiality and safeguarding standards.
  2. Provide guidance and routine advice on business processes to customers and partners.
  3. Process and format information related to finance, customer service, and staffing needs.
  4. Assist with financial transactions, including processing orders, managing unpaid bills, and handling cash.
  5. Coordinate meetings and events, including booking venues, issuing invitations, and taking minutes.
  6. Manage mail, prepare information packs, and distribute leaflets as needed.
  7. Greet visitors, handle reception duties, and offer basic guidance to inquiries.
