School Administrator with First Aid Specialism

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic School Administrator with a Specialism in First Aid to join one of our schoolsimmediately. This role is essential in ensuring our school community remains safe, healthy, and supported. The successful candidate will split their time between general administrative duties and providing high-quality first aid care to students and staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first aid to students and staff, responding quickly and effectively to medical incidents.
- Maintain up-to-date first aid records and incident reports in line with school policies.
- Ensure first aid supplies and equipment are stocked and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for all first aid-related matters within the school.
- Support the office team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing attendance records, handling enquiries, and liaising with parents and external agencies.
- Assist with safeguarding processes, ensuring the wellbeing of all students.
Requirements
- Valid First Aid Certification (Paediatric First Aid preferred).
- Enhanced DBS Check (essential).
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an education setting.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations with confidence.
