You’ll be working with other teams to find out the requirements of a project. Then prepare detailed drawings, plans, and schematics that include locations, materials, schedules, and other relevant information necessary for the people who will be installing it.
You will using AutoCAD and Revit. be preparing design proposals and costing sheets from client specifications and drawings for various communication, life safety, and security systems.
And production of design documents such as: Technical Submittals, Schematics, Layouts, etc.
You will need to have an ability to interpret technical requirements and understand building layouts and schematics. Though training will be given on specifics.
There is a focus on ongoing development, and you will be completing a range of training courses to increase technical competency and performance.
You will be building successful working relationships with customers and other employees.
The job is immediately available, and start date is asap.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Your degree can be Architecture, Design, Engineering, or Construction, related. Or maybe something to do with Computer Networks.
You’ll need good CAD knowledge (and an interest in design). And some knowledge of Revit would be ideal, though is not essential.
HOURS, PAY, AND BENEFITS
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm.
You’ll get a salary of £25,000 (or more if you've got a bit of related experience).
