The company is well-regarded within the industry for delivering high-quality products and technical support across the UK, ensuring excellence in all aspects of construction material supply and service. They are now seeking a Project Sales Manager to help drive their growth and maintain their reputation for excellence. The Project Sales Manager will be responsible for actively promoting and selling a diverse range of construction materials to industry professionals. This role will involve working closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities to generate new leads, manage product specifications, and convert opportunities into sales. The successful candidate will contribute to the company’s continued success by building strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. Package: £50-60k (DOE) + 15% Bonus if target his hit (30% Bonus if hit above target) + benefits (company car, pension, private healthcare) Location: North England / Scotland Role Overview:In this role, the Project Sales Manager will play a pivotal part in achieving the company’s sales targets, working strategically within the construction industry. The candidate will be tasked with managing key accounts, driving product specifications, and supporting clients with both technical and commercial expertise. Working closely with internal teams and ensuring projects are installed according to guidelines, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact on business performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including architects, surveyors, housebuilders, and contractors.• Achieve sales targets and objectives set for the designated region.• Generate and manage product specifications and follow up on leads to secure orders.• Maintain accurate records of all projects using the company’s CRM system.• Conduct presentations to industry professionals, promoting roofing, façade, and sealant products.• Provide technical support and accurate quotations to clients, ensuring excellent customer service.• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure installations adhere to company guidelines and QA standards.• Prepare and deliver monthly reports outlining key activities, competitor insights, and sales performance.• Attend and contribute to sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.• Follow all company policies and guidelines, including those outlined in theemployee handbook.• Undertake additional duties as needed to support the company's objectives.For further information in relation to this opportunity please contact Kallum on;Experience & Skills Required:• Proven track record in sales within the construction industry, particularly through specification channels.• Strong business acumen with an understanding of profit and loss statements (P&L).• Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to manage customer data effectively.• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.• Experience in building and maintaining professional relationships.• A full UK driving licence.• Relevant qualifications or training in project or key account management would be advantageous. What's on Offer:This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company within the construction sector.
