About the Role CNC Setter/Operator
Youll be setting and operating CNC milling machines, tackling complex aerospace components to tight tolerances. Expect to:
-Set and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines (Fanuc, Mazak & Heidenhain controls)
-Prove out machining processes and resolve technical issues
-Monitor cutting tools, changing and setting them as needed
-Read and interpret engineering drawings
-Inspect components using micrometers, Vernier calipers & shadow graphs
-Keep the workspace tidy (6S standards) and contribute to process improvements

What You Need to Bring
Experience in CNC milling Setting & operating multi-axis CNC machining centres
Expertise in machining aerospace-grade materials Aluminium, titanium & steel
Strong understanding of NC code & ISO Programming
Ability to self-inspect complex components using high-precision measuring tools
Time-served or apprenticeship trained? Even better!
Adaptability & problem-solving skills Because every component counts
