About the Role CNC Setter/Operator
You'll be setting and operating CNC milling machines, tackling complex aerospace components to tight tolerances. Expect to:
- Set and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines (Fanuc, Mazak & Heidenhain controls)
- Prove out machining processes and resolve technical issues
- Monitor cutting tools, changing and setting them as needed
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Inspect components using micrometers, Vernier calipers & shadow graphs
- Keep the workspace tidy (6S standards) and contribute to process improvements

What You Need to Bring
- Experience in CNC milling Setting & operating multi-axis CNC machining centres
- Expertise in machining aerospace-grade materials Aluminium, titanium & steel
- Strong understanding of NC code & ISO Programming
- Ability to self-inspect complex components using high-precision measuring tools
- Time-served or apprenticeship trained? Even better!
- Adaptability & problem-solving skills Because every component counts
