Data & Automation Specialist
Location: Mansfield (Hybrid, 3 Days Remote)
Salary £55,000-£65,000

Key Responsibilities
Process Automation & Optimisation Identify and document inefficient workflows, implementing automated solutions to streamline operations.
Develop automation strategies that align with cross-functional and global priorities.
Collaborate with external vendors to implement specialised automation solutions when required.
SSRS Development & Management Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Optimise reporting environments to ensure efficient, user-friendly data access.
SQL Database & ETL Development Design relational database structures to support reporting and integration workflows.
Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and alignment with business needs.
Web Application Integration & Scripting Leverage APIs and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to integrate and automate workflows.
Assess when external expertise is required for advanced integration projects.
Excel & Power Query Automation Build advanced Excel dashboards and automate data preparation with Power Query.
Minimise manual tasks through smart automation solutions.
Collaboration & Performance Monitoring Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to align solutions with business priorities.
Provide documentation and training to ensure smooth adoption of automation tools.
Monitor automated processes, troubleshooting and optimising performance as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
SSRS Expertise – Experience in report development, dashboards, and visualisations.
SQL & Database Management – Strong skills in T-SQL, database design, and ETL.
Web Integration & Scripting – Experience with APIs, PowerShell, Python, and web automation.
Excel & Power Query – Advanced Excel, including macros and automation.
Experience  with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate) or low-code automation (Zapier).
