Our well-established financial services client are at the start of an exciting journey on our transformation agenda and are looking for a Risk and Compliance Support Officer to join the Risk and Compliance Team. Responsibilities of the Risk and Compliance Support Officer
- Assisting with the preparation of Management Information (MI), internal and external reports as required by the Compliance Manager and the Risk Manager.
- Maintain risk awareness within the role, ensuring relevant controls are implemented
- Supporting the Compliance Manager with Management and oversight of the complaint handling process and preparation of data for internal and external reporting. Oversight and approval of financial promotions, marketing and non-marketing literature. Legal and Regulatory tracking (horizon scanning), distribution to the business and supporting the interpretation of new regulatory initiatives.
- Supporting the Risk Manager with Day-to-day maintenance of the Protecht risk management system, Management of risk events and risk incidents.
Requirements of the Risk and Compliance Support Officer
This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking for the chance to start a career in the 2nd line of Risk and Compliance.
- Experience of working in a Financial Services environment essential, with previous experience of working within Risk and Compliance functions being advantageous but not essential.
- You will be computer literate, competent in Excel and Microsoft packages and have ability to pick up and use systems.
- We are looking for a flexible and friendly individual with a positive 'can do’ attitude.
- You will have the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually, you will be methodical with good attention to detail, with a professional and meticulous approach.
- You will have the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a busy office environment where no two days are the same!
