Production Operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently looking for experienced and reliable Production Operatives to work for our client’s friendly team, based in the Blidworth, NG21 area.

Our client is a successful flower packing and distribution company that delivers across the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced picking and packaging environment with customer satisfaction as the heart of the objective.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, flexibility to work weekends at an enhanced rate.

Day Shift – 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Rates of pay:

Standard pay rate: £12.00ph.

Saturday pay rate: £13.67ph.

Sunday pay rate: £20.70ph.

As a Production Operative your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:

•            Picking and packing orders following a pick sheet in preparation for shipping.

•            Quality checking products.

•            Loading and unloading pallets and stock across the warehouse.

•            Working on production conveyor belts in an efficient manner.

•            Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.

•            Heavy lifting may be involved for specific roles.

•            Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.

•            Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

•            Reliable and punctual.

•            Attention to detail.

•            Ability to work accurately and methodically.

•            Ability to plan and organize work.

•            An understanding of health and safety requirements.

•            Flexible approach to duties and tasks.

•            Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
