We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students in their learning. Key responsibilities:
  • Classroom Management: Supervise and manage students in the classroom, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.

  • Student Support: Assist students with their work, providing guidance and support to help them understand and complete tasks.
  • Behavior Management: Implement the school's behaviour policy, maintaining discipline and managing behaviour in the classroom.
  • Communication: Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and report any issues or concerns.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to different subjects and year groups as required, demonstrating a flexible and proactive approach to your role.
