Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of engineers on a mobile contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, maintenance, and repair works related to commercial gas systems within secure environments. This role is ideal for a formerCommercial Gas Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities as a Commercial Gas Supervisor:

Supervise and lead a team of Commercial Gas Engineers working across multiplesites north of Nottingham.

Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed in line with industry regulations and company standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on complex gas-related issues.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Liaise with the client, stakeholders, and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and address service requirements.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of completed works.

Oversee stock levels and procurement of necessary materials for gas maintenance operations.

Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and other industry-specific legislation.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer with relevant industry qualifications.

Gas Safe registered with valid commercial gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, etc.).

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a maintenance or FM environment.

Strong knowledge of heating and boiler systems in commercial and custodial settings.

Experience working in high-security environments such as prisons (desirable but not essential).

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Full UK Driving License (essential).
