Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves working in a warehouse environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The Glass Cutter will be responsible for accurately cutting glass to specified dimensions, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.

Duties

• Operate glass cutting machines to cut glass as per specifications.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring all parts fit together correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and meet deadlines.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking material usage and reporting shortages.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a glass cutting environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with hand tools and assembly techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: 11.44-14.00 per hour
