We are excited to be working with a provider of innovative educational solutions for children and young people, offering tailored learning experiences to support their unique needs. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their growing team.

Purpose of the Senior HR Advisor

This role will focus on employee relations, day-to-day HR activities, and leading key projects to enhance the overall employee experience. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, resilient, person-centred, and experienced in fostering positive working relationships across a diverse workforce

Main duties and responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including absence monitoring, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Champion employee relations and foster positive working relationships across the organisation.
  • Provide day-to-day management and support for HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Lead and coordinate HR projects aimed at improving the employee experience and creating an employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Ofsted regulations, including safer recruitment practices and management of low-level concerns.
  • Support line managers with HR guidance, advice, and training on best practices.
  • Travel to various sites to meet with employees and ensure positive engagement between HR and the wider workforce.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies and procedures to align with organisational goals.
  • Promote the core values of trust, innovation, and achievement within the HR team and across the organisation.

Knowledge and experience:

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations, including handling disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safer recruitment practices.
  • Proven ability to provide HR guidance and support to line managers across a range of HR activities.
  • Experience in leading HR projects aimed at improving the employee experience and organisational culture.
  • Ability to work in a person-centred, resilient manner, with a high level of integrity.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing HR environment, with the ability to embrace change and lead by example.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, including business insurance, with the willingness to travel across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation
