You will join as a Senior IT Service Delivery Manager at their Mansfield office, where you will lead the IT Service function in a people-management capacity, playing a key part in the development and implementation of world-class IT Services across the business.

Description

  • As the Senior IT Service Delivery Manager, you will report directly into the Head of IT Services, and take responsibility for the people-management of a strong, established IT Service team.
  • This team is made up of experienced 1st and 2nd Line Support Analysts that provide expert end-user support in an ITIL environment to the company's growing user base across both Mansfield and the wider Nottinghamshire region.
  • You will have strong levels of strategic input in the design and implementation of robust and sustainable IT services across both hardware and software.
  • In addition to the day-to-day delivery of Services, you will take ownership of managing relationships with key third-party suppliers, and deliver a range of policies, procedures and processes in line with wider IT Service strategy.
  • This will cover a wide array of technical areas, including modern workplace technologies, networking and cyber security.
  • The role will come with people-management responsibilities, so you will be skilled in coaching and developing reports, and ultimately upholding an outstanding level of service being delivered to the business.
  • The business have invested, and are continuing to invest, heavily into their internal IT function, as it is seen as a central pillar of the organisation's success. You will join a thriving function that is embarking on exciting change, so you'll really be part of a journey, in a role where you can shape genuine service improvements with full backing. As a result, you'll be able to work authentically, independently, flexibly, and with good judgement.
  • As you will be part of a team, the role will have on-site responsibilities, where you will be based at the office at least 3 times per week. As a result, you will preferably be based in a commutable distance from Mansfield.

Profile

  • As the successful candidate for the Senior IT Service Delivery Manager role, you will ideally have 3-5+ years of experience within a similar role, operating in an enterprise-scale environment.
  • As the role will have people-management responsibilities, you will be experienced in managing, leading and coaching a team of reports, preferably at the 1st and 2nd Line level.
  • You will have ITIL experience, and possess strong knowledge within the Microsoft space, with the ability to resolve complex operational IT issues.
  • Communication is key, and you will be an excellent communicator, both in terms of your management-style, and articulating both strategic ideas and operational information to senior stakeholders across the business, including both the Head of IT Services and relevant Project Managers.
