The Opportunity

As the eLearning Developer, you’ll lead the development of innovative and engaging e-learning modules and multimedia content. This role would suit candidates with a passion for developing great online learning materials and proficiency in user experience design. This will include the technical development of courses, including programming, testing and quality assurance?

This Company is located in North Nottinghamshire with hybrid working available.

Role Overview

  • The eLearning Developer role will be responsible for designing and developing high quality learning content using materials provided by the Training team. This content would primarily be for online learning modules, however over time there will be a need to create ‘teaser’ content for social media platforms and website, this work would be completed in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
  • You will be leading on the design and development of high quality content for online learning modules, that stand out for their innovation and relevance incorporating interactive and multimedia elements.
  • User design experience – designing the user experience of the online learning modules – which includes navigation of the modules, layout and overall design
  • Technical development – including programming, testing and quality assurance of the courses.
  • Continuous collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure the training materials are accurate, current and impactful.
  • Staying up to date on the latest learning technologies and instructional design principles to continually enhance the effectiveness of our training programmes.

Key Experience Required

  • 3+ years proven experience in a creative Learning & Development role, elearning creator/developer role
  • An understanding of Articulate and/or Moodle
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Key to this role is the ability to multi-task effectively in order to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven experience of designing accessible and user-centred elearning
  • First rate organisational skills with the ability to self-manage, manage multiple priorities and use own initiative to find solutions
