Reed are collaborating with a leading disaster restoration company dedicated to providing top-notch restoration services for properties affected by fire, water, and accidental damage. We are looking for a Claims Administrator to manage the end-to-end process of new and existing work, ensuring high standards of service and technical excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Complete the initial setup of all new files, including electronic and manual records, for new work instructions received from clients and customers.
  • Manage, set up, and accurately record dates for new and existing job files within our client contractor system (SRS).
  • Produce daily work sheets and other documentation necessary for site visits.
  • Liaise with Technicians and other site staff to ensure the correct documentation is in place for initial and subsequent site visits.
  • Deal professionally with customer and client enquiries and requests, ensuring that information is accurately recorded and shared.
  • Assist with the deployment of staff to ensure that off-site and on-site requirements are effectively resourced.
  • Follow procedures to ensure that contents deemed to be unrestorable are not disposed of until the correct approval has been given.
  • Proactively manage jobs to ensure all data is accurately recorded in a timely manner on the client’s system (SRS).
  • Communicate effectively with other Administration Team members to coordinate efforts and address challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education and experience in customer communication.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • Computer literate with experience in the use of Microsoft products.
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
