Housing Assistant

Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for a Housing Assistant to join our team based in Kirkby in Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,790 - £25,183 per annum.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our Lettings Team as a Housing Assistant.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of admin duties in support of our Lettings and Tenancy Teams, a focus being the assessment of applications from residents seeking council housing.

In addition to a range of back-office tasks the post-holder will be a first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their housing needs. The role is crucial in ensuring the customer has a positive experience and in the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be competent in the use of a range of IT packages.
