There is an immediate opportunity for a PQ / Qualified / Qualified by Experience Assistant Management Accountant to join our client, a well-established and fast growing manufacturing business in Mansfield. To support the FD through a busy period, due to the growth and a number of exciting projects that are currently underway. This is an initial 6 month contract, there is a strong potential for the role to become much longer term / permanent in the future.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Accurate daily reconciliation of bank and associated invoice discounting accounts
- Month end duties, and invoice discounting reporting
- Contribute to the monthly management t accounts, Accruals, prepayments etc
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- VAT Returns
- Stock reporting
- Adhoc reporting and Analysis
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following
- Strong IT skills – including excel
- Good communication skills
- A flexible and pro active approach
- The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
