Elevation Recruitment Group areworking with a leading PLC businesswho are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their facility near Mansfield. 

Salary: £52,500

 Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotation of days/nights)

Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will provide site-based engineering support to minimise downtime and ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.

 Duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite automated equipment
  • Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment 
  • Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults
  • Respond to automation faults and breakdowns promptly ensuring minimal downtime
  • Prioritise system faults and optimise uptime and availability of onsite automated equipment
  • Complete all reports in line with requirements using CMMS and Microsoft software packages
  • Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of upgrades and enhancements
  • Ensure optimum levels of onsite spare parts are maintained
  • Support site meetings as required
  • Mentor, train and advise junior members of the team

We would like to speak with Maintenance Engineers with the following:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Qualification
  • Apprentice trained 
  • Experience working with automated material handling systems
  • Ability to work at height
  • Capable of understanding Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electronic technical manuals and drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time and workload management skills
