Title – Maintenance Team Leader

Salary – £65,000
Shifts – 4 on 4 off Days and night

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be working in one of the largest automated distribution centres in the world. My client have invest over 250 million pound in the site meaning you will be working with the latest technology on the market! They boast various robotic systems, sortation equipment, shuttles and many more. They have gone through some initial teething problems on site and now looking for a supervisor to come in supporting the current maintenance function to drive it with a more proactive approach. They have had further investment with Training rigs, a top of the range stores facility and plenty more. The business have gone from strength to strength and are incredible stable with a turnover of over 3billion globally. My client are constantly evolving with heavy financing on cutting edge machinery!

The Role
The Maintenance Team Leader will support managerial duties and ensure that Frasers provides a fully functional automation system.
This is a critical role, and the Team Leader will have experience in leading and coordinating a team of maintenance engineers and carry out hands on maintenance to ensure the site runs smoothly and efficiently
The Role will consist of
- Managing a large team of engineers- 1-2-1, Appraisals, support with hiring, Holiday management
- Working to KPI's on site – Site availability, Engineer utilisation, PPM completion
- Mentor, guiding and training the wider team
- Supporting shift hand overs – looking at previous issues
- CMMS - Analysis of Data – Recurring faults and problems
- Element of hands on (this will be down to the TL how much they get involved with)
- Processes are already in place but will have to keep to these and help continue driving it forward.
The Person
To be successful in your application for a Maintenance Team Leader you will need:
- An electrical or mechanical qualification
- Experience managing teams.
- Maintenance experience in a production, manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Alternatively, you could be from the Navy, Army or RAF with an electrical qualification.
