Company Overview:

A leading structural engineering company based in Nottinghamshire, who specialise in structural builds on heavy gauge metals, who complete projects for various clients and industries.

The Plater Fabricator Role:

Due to successful workload the company are now looking to bring in a new Plater Fabricator who can work on on-going contracts and become an asset to the current team.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components.
  • Follow engineering drawings.
  • Use of hand tools to shape and bend metals.
  • MIG and TIG Welding duties.
  • Quality inspect own work to meet the customers requirements.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy bay area.
  • Working out measurements from drawings to scale.

The Plater Fabricator:

  • Experience in fabrication, plating or sheet metal work.
  • MIG Welding is essential.
  • Ability to operate a range of tools both hand and power.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes and assembly techniques is advantageous.
  • Be able to read engineering drawings and schematic drawings
  • Good attention to details.
