This role is not for the feint hearted. It offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing retailer and lead significant automation projects for a state-of-the-art distribution centre employing over +4,000 people. Driving the implementation of automated solutions that optimise processes, boost productivity and reduce costs, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high profile projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse automation projects from planning to completion, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, including scope, timelines and budgets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates + facilitating decisions.
  • Integrate automated solutions (e.g. robotics, conveyor systems) ensuring compatibility with existing WMS and ERP systems.
  • Manage budgets, risks and process optimisations.
  • Lead and mentor teams, driving continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Strong Engineering background; project management certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in managing automation projects in warehousing or manufacturing.
  • Effective team leadership skills and strong knowledge of automation tools.
