Unite People is working with an established, specialist infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work with their commercial team on a full-time, salary basis in their Mansfield office

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor, to join an expanding business, in a new region. You will be working with a privately owned company that has long standing relationships with key clients. If you are currently in a slower paced, one project role, supporting a commercial lead. This opportunity, will give you the platform to have ownership of some smaller value projects independently. With the support of your Commercial Manager

The successful candidate will be working with an established group of clients with an impressive order book already going forward into 2025. With company turnover expected to increase significantly

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining commercial controls on projects
  • Monthly reporting
  • Cost to complete
  • Manage sub-contractor accounts
  • Pricing and agreeing change
  • Issuing of payment certificates
  • Close liaison and collaborative team-work with the project teams
  • JCT contract experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable working knowledge as a Quantity Surveyor
