Are you a passionate and inspiring educator with a love for food education? Academics Agency are seeking a dedicated Head of Food to join our team, leading the secondary food curriculum across multiple sites. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for a strong teacher and leader ready to make a real difference in the lives of KS3 and KS4 students.

The Role:

  • Oversee and deliver the food curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and engaging lessons.
  • Teach a range of qualifications, including GCSE Food and ASDAN Foodwise.
  • Lead a small team of 3 staff members, with responsibility for sequencing the curriculum, driving student progress, and ensuring outcomes are met.
  • Organise and lead practicals, manage coursework, and stay updated on exam regulation changes.
  • Act as a form tutor with small class sizes of up to 10 pupils.
  • Conduct curriculum Deep Dives and provide leadership in food education.
