We are looking for a full time Deputy Manager to join our team of dedicated care professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, as well as providing direct care to residents.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a care home environment, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of elderly people. They will also be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Providing direct care to residents
- Managing staff and ensuring that they are providing high-quality care
- Ensuring that the home is clean and safe
- Working with other members of the team to develop and implement care plans
- Liaise with relatives and carers
- Administer medication
- Complete paperwork and records
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent
- Experience of working in a care home environment
- A strong understanding of the needs of elderly people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A commitment to providing high-quality care
