Full time Deputy Manager - Care

We are looking for a full time Deputy Manager to join our team of dedicated care professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, as well as providing direct care to residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a care home environment, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of elderly people. They will also be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Providing direct care to residents
  • Managing staff and ensuring that they are providing high-quality care
  • Ensuring that the home is clean and safe
  • Working with other members of the team to develop and implement care plans
  • Liaise with relatives and carers
  • Administer medication
  • Complete paperwork and records

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a care home environment
  • A strong understanding of the needs of elderly people
