  About the Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and mentoring other team members. Working within a therapeutic solo setting, you will support a child or young person with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Support & Care:

    • Provide 1:1 support to a young person with EBD and trauma-related needs.
    • Implement individual care plans and behaviour strategies.
    • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
  • Mentoring & Teamwork:

    • Act as a role model and support less experienced staff members.
    • Work closely with the Registered Manager and therapeutic team to ensure the best care approaches.
  • Safeguarding & Compliance:

    • Maintain Ofsted standards and ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
    • Keep up-to-date records and contribute to ongoing care reviews.
  • Personal Development & Career Growth:

  Requirements:
  • Experience working in a residential childcare or EBD setting.
