SEN Teaching Assistant | Mansfield, NG19 | £90-£100 | Long-term to perm | ASAP

Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a background in special educational needs? Or a recent graduate who wants to make their mark in education?

LTF Recruitment are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our nurturing and caring team at an alternative provision based in Mansfield. We are looking for someone to match our ethos of creating a positive working environment and furthering all our pupil's education.

Your duties will include:

  • Working alongside the classroom teacher and promote a holistic approach that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.
  • Setting individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.
  • Planning and delivering interventions for students accessing additional SEND support.
  • Ensuring every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential In a caring and safe environment.

The right candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Be able to form effective relationships with staff and pupils.
  • Have strong and clear communication and verbal skills.
  • Have a responsive and caring approach to all pupils.
