A Technical Sales Engineer is required for a hugely successful supplier of electronic equipment here in the UK. With over 50 years of trading within a niche market of electronics to all forms of industry, they stand out head and shoulders above their competition by offering both product solutions and after sales support.

Their machinery and equipment are both recognised and highly regarded as the best in the industry, with showrooms as well as on site customer demonstrations and OEM level training. With a full team of support from both office and the field, customer satisfaction is paramount.

We're looking for highly motivated, career driven sales individuals, that enjoy working in a customer facing environment, whilst working collaboratively with the wider team on projects when required.

Benefits include a competitive starting salary of up to £35K, plus a realistic OTE of over £100K with monthly commission, a fully expensed company car & fuel card, 28 days holiday, company pension, credit card for expenses, and lots of product training on offer.

As the technical sales engineer, you'll be responsible for -

- Responding quickly and professionally to all incoming enquiries on products- Booking meetings with customers to get on site and fully understand their requirements, to then effectively sell a solution- Build professional relationships with customers, approaching from shop floor to director level - Hold product demonstrations at the showroom - Manage the full sale from enquiry through to delivered machine - Negotiation on unit price, service and spare part packages- Use of Salesforce CRM system effectively to record all sales activities and pipeline management- Ensure all tools, equipment, devices and company property are maintained and looked afterTo be successful as a technical sales engineer, you will have - - Previous experience selling technical products, such as machinery, electrical products, or equipment supplied to the manufacturing industry- The ability to demonstrate how to effectively solution sell in front of customers- Effective time management and organisation skills- Clean UK Drivers License - Flexibility to travel extensively and occasionally stay overnight in hotels

There will be extensive training on offer during the first 6 months in order to become fully aware of the product range, to be able to build credibility with customers very quickly.
