Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting an Ofsted graded GOOD Training provider to hire a Apprenticeship/AEB Tutor to deliver and support the delivery of Apprenticeships and AEB couses up to and including level 3, as well as Functional Skills Maths and English.

Main Purpose

This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate being home based and required to visit each learner once every 3 months in addition to attending the head office in Mansfield once every 3 months for training days.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver and adapt individual learning plans for each learner on your caseload
  • Plan and deliver individualised sessions to support the learners to develop the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours
  • Complete in-depth reviews with learners to ensure learners make good progress
  • Embed functional skills as appropriate
  • Promote tri partite working with self, employer and learner
  • Ongoing caseload management and administration tasks
  • Work alongside the Quality Assurance team to ensure that delivery meets high expectations
  • Prepare for and attend standardisation meetings as instructed by Quality Assurance
  • Actively ensure own CPD is kept up to date and occupational competence
  • Monthly 121 meetings with Training Director

Essential

  • Past experience working as a generic assessor - Minimum 2 years
  • Hold a level 2/3 qualification or have experience in generic courses such as Business Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading and Management Level 3
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent (or willing to work towards Functional Skills)
  • Basic IT skills (training will be given)
  • Energetic and positive
  • Effective communication skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Assessor experience/ qualification
  • PTLLS or above teaching qualification
