Job Overview:
The Vacuum Forming Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the vacuum forming department, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership:
- Manage and train vacuum forming machine operators.
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure efficiency.
- Foster a positive and safe working environment.

Production Management:
- Oversee vacuum forming processes to ensure timely and quality production.
- Adjust machine settings to optimise production quality and minimise waste.
- Coordinate with other departments, including design, maintenance, and quality control.

Quality Control & Compliance:
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain documentation of production and quality control records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on vacuum forming machines.
- Identify and resolve machine malfunctions to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in vacuum forming, thermoforming, or plastic molding processes.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of machine operationsand maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
