Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician with a passion for automotive innovation?
Are you looking to transition from a busy workshop to an exciting office-based role?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development of new tools aligned with market demands.
  • Review and update information on existing products to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including demonstration rigs, photos, and videos.
  • Use technical publications and online resources to maintain comprehensive records supporting both current products and new projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade professionals to gather insights and enhance research on tooling needs.
  • Keep track of new vehicle developments, especially in relation to servicing tools and techniques.
  • Monitor competitor activity through online research and industry publications.
  • Source vehicle components to assist with tool design and testing.
  • Test prototype tools on vehicle components, either at the workshop or with trade professionals.
  • Maintain the product development workshop and related tools.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding products.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, with broad vehicle knowledge.
  • Familiarity with multiple automotive brands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
