The One Group are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join an already established and growing business in March on a full time, permanent basis. This role gives you the opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team and join a business with a fantastic company culture. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will be key to the maintenance of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Cash book:
- Posting of invoices (Purchase, Sales & claims log entries)
- Cash allocation
- Reconciliation of Sales at Month end to general ledger
- Management of Cash book and bank reconciliations
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Reconcile Credit card statements
This role requires solid experience with ledgers and cash book management, as well as an understanding of double entry bookkeeping. Ideally you will be AAT qualified, however this is not essential to be successful with your application.In return for the above traits and responsibilities, you will be offered:
- £28,000-£32,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- 20 days + bank holidays (increases with long service)
