About the RoleAs a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of corporate and specialist sectors, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality compliance services. You’ll oversee projects from inception through to completion, managing budgets, compliance processes, and client relationships while mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of a portfolio of clients, offering a range of services, including corporate taxation, financial projections, and VAT compliance.
- Manage the preparation and finalisation of accounts, ensuring high standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored advice and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Lead and support junior colleagues, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Oversee business development activities, contributing to the firm’s marketing efforts and engaging in networking events to raise the firm’s profile.
QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with either ACA/ACCA qualifications or equivalent experience, who has a proven track record in general practice within an accountancy firm. Previous experience using CCH software would be an advantage, though not a requirement.

- Extensive experience in managing a portfolio of corporate clients, with a focus on compliance services.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, accounts preparation, and overseeing VAT returns.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and explain complex matters clearly and confidently.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and manage workflow.
- A proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high standards of service under pressure.
