Alecto Recruitment is working exclusively in partnership with our client, a specialist in the AD sector, to actively seek a Site Manager to oversee daily operations.

- Competitive Salary 55,000 - 60,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
To cost effectively manage the AD process and site operations:
- With full regard to safety, health and the environment, maintaining a safety culture that places the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors first.
- Fully compliant with company HR management and procedures
- Lead from the front and by example, to achieve and maintain a high level of performance efficiency for the plant, provide leadership in directing all day-to-day site activities.
- Review and initiate the day-to-day operation of the plant and become fully conversant with each activity undertaken.
- Ensuring management of feedstock levels and processing of acceptable feedstock
- Ensuring healthy biology is maintained.
- Ensure the sites is run to the optimum cost-effective capacity,
- Achieving KPIs
- To be responsible for the site P&L and manage & control against budget.
- Ensuring a Planned Preventative Maintenance system (CCMS) is in place and effective, directing the activities of the Site Teams and contractors, ensuring work is done to a timely and acceptable standard.
- To build, coach, develop and effectively manage the site operating teams.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualifications - ideally, a degree, HNC or apprenticeship served in a relevant engineering field
- Strong leadership with at least three years' experience in a senior position on a Process Plant with supervisory experience as well as budget / commercial experience (forecasting, P/L, contract management).
- Line Management e.g. 121s and appraisals.
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety such as an IOSH / NEBOSH
- Ideally WAMITAB COTC level 4
- Project management experience - advantageous.
- Willing to embrace change and challenge processes to improve the efficiency and the effectiveness of the site/company.
- Able to self-manage workloads and priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Commitment to achieve the highest standards of work
