We are recruiting for an onsite Quality Control Inspector within our clients steelwork and erection process. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all onsite processes meet stringent quality standards and industry quality standards. This role with drive quality improvement and optimise efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant onsite standards.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in this growing company and gives autonomy to really drive standards and cost savings. As the onsite Quality Control Inspector, you will be:• To conduct inspections and audits during the erection process.• Develop and maintain test Plans (ITPs)• To document non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.• Ensure compliance with steelwork standards and client specifications.• To analyse quality metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and cost-saving opportunities• To collaborate to drive continuous improvement and implement preventive measures.• To maintain accurate records.• To verify materials, workmanship and installation processes• To collaborate with design and manufacturing teams• Keep abreast of updates in industry standards and regulatory requirements.• Proactively promote a safe working environment by adhering to our Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental policies and policiesAs the onsite Quality Control Inspector, you will have:• Great communication skill• Proficient IT abilities• Experience in a quality engineering erection role • CSCS Card• Driving Licence and open to UK wide travel• Ability to interpret installation drawingsIf you like the sound of the onsite Quality Control Inspector role and have the experience of working in a similar role or environment, please get in touch by sending us an email with your application.
