Veracious Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in March, as they look to appoint a Sales Ledger Officer following the departure of a long-serving team member.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to take full ownership of the Sales Ledger function, including administration, reporting, and credit control. You’ll also collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes and adherence to customer payment terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing & Financial Controls - Work with Procurement and Finance teams to post invoices, manage EDI batch invoicing, and maintain strong financial controls.
  • Reconciliations & Adjustments - Enter cost adjustments, track daily orders, and reconcile EPOD data via customer portals.
  • Credit Control & Aged Debt Management - Chase payments, resolve debit/credit notes, and proactively reduce outstanding debt.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement - Prepare financial reports/KPIs, maintain accurate data in Navision, and drive efficiency in financial controls.
  • Collaboration & Support - Engage with internal and external stakeholders, provide holiday cover, and handle general administrative duties.
