REED is collaborating with a highly regarded secondary school in the March area to recruit a dedicated Science teacher. The position is available to start immediately, at Easter, or from September 2025.

Position Details:

  • Availability: Full-time or part-time
  • Qualifications: Qualified teachers preferred, but unqualified candidates will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive Science curriculum for various grade levels
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Foster a love for scientific inquiry and critical thinking through dynamic teaching methods
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Science education into the broader academic program
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and best practices in Science teaching

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching certification in Science (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for science, experimentation, and student development
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service
