We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geography and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons that comply with the curriculum.
  • Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to continually improve teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in teaching geography or a related subject.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
