7:30am -- 4:30pm

39 Hours plus Overtime

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineerto work on behalf of one of the UK's leading FMCG comapnies.

The companyprovide24/7 Mechanical Maintenance support to a leading food manufacturing facility on Wrexham Industrial Estateand an opportunity has arisen to join the on-site team.

For the successful applicant we are offering:

Starting pay rate of 17.70 per hour

Annual 12 month rolling contract (due for renewal 1st January 2026)

Days Monday-Friday (39-hour working week)

Overtime available (including call-outs)

25 days annual leave + Bank holidays

The Role:

Mechanical maintenance for site and machinery

Providing efficient repair/improvements for machinery/equipment

Reactive maintenance ensuring minimal downtime to machinery

Carry out planned maintenance

Respond promptly to reactive breakdown requirements and requests

Ensuring appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental, Food Safety and Housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.

The Ideal Candidate:

Time served mechanical fitter

Minimum 3 years mechanical maintenance experience

Proven ability to weld to an acceptable standard an advantage, but not a necessity

Previous experience in a similar multi- skilled mechanical environment

FMCG or food processing industry experienc
