Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Technologist into their team focused on product development in the area of e-Liquids Discovery. It combines technical expertise with laboratory practice, as well as strong analytical and data management skills. The key responsibilities involve formulating e-liquids, conducting analytical testing, managing samples, and developing new working practices or procedures. The role requires a deep understanding of e-liquid chemistry, with an emphasis on active ingredients and related science, and a solid background in laboratory practice and statistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and Creating e-Liquids: Develop e-liquids at the laboratory scale, applying technical knowledge of ingredients and their chemistry.
- Conducting Analytical Work: Perform tests, generate reports, and ensure accuracy through well-defined work practices and procedures.
- Engagement with External Companies: Collaborate with external research companies, reviewing and summarizing their findings.
- Developing New Procedures: Address technical challenges by creating new working methods and gaining management approval.
- Sample Management and Data Tracking: Organize and track sample data, ensuring proper identification and sourcing for analysis.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of e-liquid chemistry, ingredients, and product analysis.
- Laboratory Experience: Familiarity with good laboratory practice, e-liquid sample preparation, and analysis.
- Data Management: Experience in managing data and using basic statistics.
- Educational Background: A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Analytical and Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.

35 per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay:
17.19 per hour (PAYE)
